Colin Parry is an inspired public speaker and has spoken to audiences of all sizes on topics ranging from 'World Understanding and Peace' to 'Speaking to your Enemy', 'Coping with the Loss of a Loved One', and 'Finding and Developing Positives from Negatives'.

Following the death of his son at the hands of the IRA, Colin established a visionary charitable Peace Foundation and a unique Peace Centre in memory of his son Tim and the other young boy who was killed in the bomb, Johnathan Ball.

Colin has undertaken many high profile public speaking engagements, including:

Addressing an international audience of 10,000 people in the Osaka Baseball Dome, Japan.
Sharing a platform with Gerry Adams, Sinn Fein President at an event in Canary Wharf, London.
Debating and chairing high profile debates at Trinity College, Dublin and Cambridge University Debating Societies.

Colin has worked tirelessly to promote the work of the Foundation and its importance to us all in today's ever more dangerous world. The tragic death of his son has also led Colin, along with his wife Wendy, to campaign for peace in Northern Ireland.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair stated in answer to a question during Prime Minister's Question Time in The House of Commons (March 2007):
